NutriForge ("we", "our", or "us") is a nutrition planning app that helps you generate personalised meal plans and nutrition tips. This Privacy Policy explains what information the app handles and how it is used.
NutriForge does not require you to create an account. The following information is stored locally on your device in the app's private storage:
This on-device information is not uploaded to our own servers. It remains on your phone unless you delete the app or use the in-app reset options.
When you generate meal plans, request a daily tip, edit a meal, or ask the AI coach a question, NutriForge sends the relevant information needed for that request to xAI (xAI API) over an encrypted HTTPS connection. Depending on the feature you use, this may include:
xAI processes this data to generate a response. We do not send your data to our own backend for storage — requests are routed through a secure proxy that enforces usage limits and forwards them to xAI.

NutriForge uses Firebase Analytics to collect anonymous usage information such as screens viewed and feature usage (for example, when a meal plan is generated). This helps us understand how the app is used and improve it. Firebase may collect device and app information according to Google's Privacy Policy.
If you choose to share a meal plan, the app uses your device's standard share options (such as WhatsApp, Telegram, Messages, Gmail, or copy to clipboard). We do not control what you share or how third-party apps handle that content.
NutriForge is intended for users aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 18.
Data stored on your device remains there until you clear app data, uninstall the app, or delete history within the app. Uninstalling NutriForge removes locally stored data from your device.

Communications with the xAI API use HTTPS encryption. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure.
